LLC Registration in Ukraine
A limited liability company (LLC) is one of the most widely used legal structures for conducting business in Ukraine. An LLC may be established by Ukrainian or foreign individuals and legal entities.

Forms of Business Organisation in Ukraine
- limited liability company – LLC (a convenient and straightforward legal structure that allows effective control over business operations and finances; the company is liable for its obligations only to the extent of its own assets);
- joint-stock company – JSC (public JSC or private JSC): the company is liable for its debts exclusively with its own assets; a public JSC may offer shares freely on the market as well as through private placement, while a private JSC may place shares only privately; a private joint-stock company may have no more than 100 shareholders;
- representative office of a foreign company – foreign representative office (a permanent place of business through which a non-resident company conducts its activities);
- private enterprise – PE (established using assets contributed by individual owners): there is no requirement to establish authorised capital; where the enterprise incurs debts, its founders may bear subsidiary liability for its obligations;
- individual entrepreneur – FOP: no charter or corporate documents are required for registration; if debts or losses arise, the entrepreneur is liable to creditors with all of their personal assets.
Other forms of business organisation include: general partnership – GP, limited partnership – LP, additional liability company – ALC, subsidiary enterprise, and production cooperative.
